My Wellness Wednesdays

My Wellness Wednesdays are a weekly opportunity to slow down, connect, and learn ways to care for yourself physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Shelley McConaghy brings a wealth of experience to the table, and holds a space of nurturing power. Her background in adult education and years in the healing room gives her the intuitive gift of navigating the learning environment with ease.

This allows her workshop participants to relax and feel comfortable sharing and relating with each other, without judgement, and to gain as much as possible from every session.

8 May: Balance Me Head Hold

During this experiential, practical, and interactive workshop, we will:

  • Learn the benefits of the Balance Me Head Hold – a favourite element of our spiritual alignments
  • Practice the technique on ourselves
  • Learn how to share the technique with our loved ones
  • Experience a peaceful guided meditation to the sounds of the crystal bowls.

We will also have time to practice the technique on the massage table. This is a technique that is performed fully clothed, and will involve gently holding the other person’s head to bring about a deep relaxation response.

Bring along your comfort items if you prefer to sit/lie on the floor during the meditation.

We have plastic chairs, but no mats, pillows, or blankets.

Workshop facilitator

Shelley McConaghy

Shelley has been on her spiritual journey since she was a teenager. As a very sensitive child, she picked up on what the people around her were feeling. This manifested in daily stomach aches and headaches from the age of seven. It was a relief later on to discover that she was literally taking on others pain as an ’empath’. Learning techniques to help manage this has proven invaluable in her work as a natural therapist. Ultimately she seeks to foster a love of crystals and Mother Earth among her students.
As the founder of Divine Balance® Shelley is passionate about helping people on their spiritual journey. Her clients have described what she provides during healings as being bathed in the energy of the Divine Mother. More recently, she has started accessing more of her soul’s gifts in the form of very high dimensional energies, and the healing frequencies of the oversoul energies of the dolphins, whales, and crystal beings from their galactic home. Shelley certainly doesn’t have all the answers, but she is very willing to share what has worked for her, and what techniques her clients have found useful.
